Ace Survey

After creating our board game we had to fill in a survey about our school vision (ACE). This survey was created by some of the students in Room 11. These students were Madina, Precious and Miracle. They created 15 different questions that were all about our school vision. A stands for Achievement C stands for Confidence. E stands for Excellence. Here are my answers for the questions they asked!

Positive or Negative - What does it lead to?

During the time we had today with Mr Victor, we were given a couple of tasks. We were focusing on the negatives and the positives of showing our school values. What is something good that we do to show our school values? Or something bad. What could this choice lead to? We created 4 statements each for positive and negative things that we do at school. Later on we were given our second task. To create a board game using these statements. I decided to create a snakes and ladders board game. I will be posting about that later on but here is my positive statements and negative statements.

Fire & Ace

Today Mr Victor assigned the early finishers to get into buddies and create a poster about Fire & Ace! Me and my buddy (Anaysha) created this poster.

Orange Band!

Today at assembly I was awarded the orange band which is the 4th band. These bands are awarded to students that show the school values. Each band is worth 200 clicks that are given by teachers. You only get clicks when you show the school values. This is a very fun and exciting way to help Glen Taylor School show the school values - FIRE! Fun, Integrity, Respect and Excellence! Here is my Orange Band!

G.T.S F.I.R.E

Today the entire school had to lie down on the field in the burning sun. We did this because we were taking a photo of the whole school for our reports. The teachers came up with a creative way of spelling G.T.S F.I.R.E using our bodies! We used the drone to take our photo. We had a lot of fun getting our faces burnt but it was truly worth it! Here is the finished result!

The seniors are spelling GTS.

The middles are spelling FIRE.

The juniors are the line at the bottom and some are forming the exclamation mark.

The teachers are in the middle.

Fire Shields

Recently I posted about my Fire Statement for my shield. Fire is an acronym for Fun, Integrity, Respect and Excellence which are our school values! Take a look at the fire shields Room 11 had created

GTS is on FIRE!

In Glen Taylor School our values are Fun, Integrity, Respect and Excellence. They are an acronym for Fire. Glen Taylor School is having a competition on which student can create the best Fire Logo for the school. We were also told to write a short paragraph on what we think fire looks like at GTS. My fire logo is on paper but down below you can find my explanation on what I think FIRE looks like.
