Today for writing my class was focusing on how to practise our descriptive writing skills to create effective settings. We had looked at a picture and wrote 4-6 sentences about the picture. We were told to include a simile or a metaphor in our short paragraph. We also needed to use descriptive words to attract the reader and take them to the picture of the place.
